Making a needle felted wool felt glasses case with cherry and cherry leaf motifs

Techniques used: Hand sewing, felting on textiles, volume felting with a needle.

This complete kit allows you to make a glasses case from wool felt and carded wool.

It contains:

• 1coupon of mottled sand wool felt 30 x 30 cm
• 1 block of felting foam
• 2 fine (38) and extra-fine (40) felting needles
• 1 bag of 6 colors of carded wool (moss green, leaf, fir, red and hazelnut)
• The sewing pattern (case, hand sewing)
• The pattern templates to cut out
• A step-by-step guide with photos and full explanations: Placement of decorative motifs, felting, assembly of the case and sewing.

To make this beautiful glasses case you will need:

• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 tape measure or ruler
• 1 felt-tip pen, tailor's chalk, pen or pencil (for drawing on wool felt)
• 1 sewing needle
• 1 spool of light brown or contrasting sewing thread of your choice.

I recommend using wooden handles for a better grip on your felting needles.

Once you have made your case, you will have enough left to make a small card holder, key ring or other creations with the unused felt and cardstock.

With the help of the very comprehensive explanations you will then be able to make another case or other creations in textile felting, by diversifying the colors of thefelt coupons (25 colors available) and imagine other patterns to felt in carded wool (50 colors available in the store)
