Initiation kit to felting on textiles (wool felt)
Realization of a wool felt glasses case, needle felted with patterns of cherries and cherry leaves

Techniques used: Hand sewing, felting on fabric, volume needle felting.

This complete kit allows you to make a wool felt and carded wool glasses case.

It contains :

• 1 mottled sandwool felt coupon 30 x 30 cm
• 1 block of felting foam
• 2 felting needles fine (38) and Extra-fine (40)
• 1 bag of 6 colors of carded wool (moss green, leaf, fir, red and hazelnut)
• The sewing pattern (case, hand sewing)
• Pattern templates to cut
• A step by step in photos and complete explanations: Placement of decorative patterns, felting, assembly of the case and sewing.

To make this beautiful glasses case you will need:

• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 tape measure or ruler
• 1 marker, tailor's chalk, pen or pencil (for drawing on wool felt)
• 1 sewing needle
• 1 spool of light brown or contrasting sewing thread of your choice.

I advise you to use wooden handles for better grip of your felting needles.

Once you have made your case, you will have enough to make a small card holder, key ring or other creations with the unused felt and carded card.

With the help of the very complete explanations you can then redo another case or other creations in textile felting, by diversifying the colors ofthe felt coupons (25 colors available) and imagine other patterns to felt in carded wool (45 colors available on the shop)
